Guru Purnima

The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated according to the Hindu calendar, the full moon of the Shukla Paksha of Aashad (June-July) is celebrated.

This year this festival was celebrated on July 16, 2019. It celebrates mainly the people of Hindu, Buddhism and Jainism in Nepal. On this day, teachers are worshiped and respected.
