Hasta Uttanasana(Tiryaka Tadasana)
The word "Hasta Uttanasana" is made up of three words, hand, Uttan and asana. Hand means 'Arms', Uttan means 'tana' and Asana means 'specific physical condition'. In this posture, the Arms are pulled upward, hence it is called the Hasta Uttanasana. This situation is also called Tiryak Tadasana.
Let's follow the steps given below to do Hasta Uttanasana(Tiryak Tadasana) -
- Stand straight on the floor, mix both legs together.
- Slowly breathing, lift both arms over the head.
- Raise your palms up
- Now get entangled by the fingers of both your hands.
- Tilting the waist to the right side as much as possible, leaving out breathing.
- In this situation, stay for 5-10 seconds.
- Now come in the normal position.
- Again Tilting the waist to the left as much as possible, leaving the breathing.
- In this situation, stay for 5-10 seconds.
- Come back to your normal position.
Remember the following points-
- Just bowed to the left or to the left
- Stretch the sides as far as possible.
- Keep the sides straight.
- Do not tilt in front or back
